Lovely place to camp, from some campsite you have access to Lake. Very peaceful area, loved it.
Nice remote campground. Sites are large enough for travel trailer or rv a few are uneven fot a tent. Water source is very dirty, i wouldn't consume. Outhouses are clean. Nice boat launch with dock.
Very quiet and peaceful. Mosquitos were really bad in early July when I camped. As the week went on and it got colder they didn't bother us as much. I want to go back in early fall when it is a little cooler. There is no cell reception at this campground which is great when you have a good excuse to escape work calls and emails. The camp sites I saw were large and level. Outhouse was always clean and stocked. Would recommend to a friend who wanted to go off the grid for a little while.
Nicely kept campground. From tent to RV no problem. Primitive. Has toilet. Beach area and adjoining boat launch.
SOLITUDE! This campground was fantastic. It was a 7 mile gravel road trip to the campground. It was worth the drive (we did break both clearance marker lights on our trailer because of flying gravel). Site 3 has the best view of the lake. Very private sites. The bathroom was clean (but still an outhouse). Seems to be a good fishing, however we didn't fish it. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for quiet relaxation.
