I would not recommend this campground if you want to have a good time. Don't get me wrong, the campground is beautiful, and the baths, and shower are great. The camp host is horrible. We got yelled at for having music on every night. Couldn't even hear it on the other side of the camper. Our children got yelled at in the swimming area for using a paddle board, when there was know one even around. The permanent side next to us, I think she was smoking meth the whole time. We camp at multiple different places every year. I would not recommend this place.

Phenomenal! We had a small site on the lake. Last one with power. Out of Wi-Fi range but secluded and quiet. Brenda was very friendly and easy to work with as we wanted to stay an extra night. Fishing from the shore was AWESOME, lots of good sized pan fish and some little bass. The bathrooms are pit toilets but are probably THE CLEANEST I have ever seen. As pleasant as you could hope for a pit toilet. The showers were clean, (few bugs but come on its a campground ) the water was good and warm and the pressure was good. We are kid less but there is a nice playground for munchkins. Very very nice place and even with rain we had an excellent weekend. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the area!

Our campsite was large and had a beautiful view of the lake. When we checked in, the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. The only downfall to this campground is that the sites are somewhat tricky to back into, and large RVs would not be able to fit.

Great find on our journey west. Brenda was very helpful with reservations and site location for our motorhome. Camp host Patty introduced herself and there for any questions. We had site #40 on the lake front by the boat launch. Perfect! We stayed 2 nites. Had 30 amp but no water on sites. Not a problem as showers and washrooms were close to save holding tank water. Property clean and exceptionally well maintained for a rustic style campground.

Dump site very accessible and easy to get in and out.

There is a swimming area, walking trail, great for boating and fishing and close to little town of Iron River (recommend a visit to Jim"s Meats where we got some elk bacon). Highly recommend and would visit again if in the area.

I ABSOLUTELY am in LOVE with this place!!! First off, Brenda is beyond AWESOME and AMAZING!!! She is so friendly and helpful with whatever you need or if you forget something…(like we did). She doesn’t get enough credit for all that she does at the campground!!! Our campsites (we stayed twice) were beautiful and perfect for setting up a tent and having a cozy campfire!!! The bathrooms and showers are super clean and super conveniently located!!! I could keep going on and on and on…highly recommended staying and we will return multiple times because of Brenda and the wonderful times we had staying at the campground!!! Thanks again Brenda for EVERYTHING…can’t wait to make a reservation next spring 😃
