One highlight was hearing the GPS tell us to turn right on the "Galle Dam Road". 😎
The campground at Eau Galle Reservoir, Highland Ridge, is an excellent and affordable campground. I enjoyed four visits there this season and delighted in the spring trilliums through the fall colors. I'll be back!
Very serene and beautiful. There are a few short trails and a public beach with sand and a swimming area. The bathrooms were decent. There were picnic tables and grills to use. It was secluded and not very crowded.
We had a lovely February morning for a walk at Eau Galle. Many were enjoying time on the water ice fishing. The park area is well kept and the trails are easily walkable.
