A truly beautiful place to visit, whether for a relaxing walk or to learn some fascinating bits of history. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful if you're curious about history. The guided tours are a quick, fun way to catch a glimpse into the past.
I recently went with my Girl Scout troop for a tour, which they have just started offering again. Donna did a wonderful job, highlighting historically significant families and local folklore, as well as educating us on the symbolism included in the decorations on the markers. The old chapel is also once again open for public viewing and is a must see. It was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend!!
I would like to know why they razed the trail of all the beautiful plant life. It was colorful and bountiful. Now it is desolate brown.
It's pretty; well kept grounds. I like to walk around by the water. I enjoy the solitude and wildlife. Great trail near by.
Beautiful, well kept. Age of gravestones vary from late 1800's to recent (2019). I would also suggest stopping by House of Flowers across the street - cutest little boutique around !
