Wiregrass Lake is a beautiful and serene park to spend time with family, experiencing the solitude and quietness of still water. People go there for kayaking and fishing, too. We saw staff giving lessons to the first timer doing kayaking and other more experienced groups. We went there primarily for fishing but didn't have that much luck. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable couple of hours, and the weather was perfect. Next time, we will go more prepared with snacks and drinks. Recommended for those who are more into natural beauty.

Amazing newer addition to the metropark system. This is fast becoming one of my favorite parks to visit, nice trails, camping, fishing. The lake is crystal clear, no alge. Milo the Labrabull love's the pond fur sure!!!

Great place for fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. The launch took my NuCanoe F10 nicely. Wasn’t sure how it would work since it’s wider than normal. Depth is about 10-10.5 feet deep throughout.
