I was here during the covid 19 pandemic in 2020. There was a nice restaurant and winery on sight. I learned to play pickle ball and made life long friends. You are only an hour from Las Vegas and Death Valley National park. We were also able to find good dog parks locally for our 3 4 legged companions. I hope to be back again some day. They have park model RVs you can rent also. We had a 36 ft Rv that we had no issues getting parked. I did have to buy an extra length of sewer hose due to the locations of the sewer hookup. Not an issue as Walmart is just down the road.
This place has stunning unobstructed views of the mountains which can be enjoyed while floating in their upper pool. The cottage was very clean (they apparently have very good cleaning staff) and had everything you would need in a "home-away-from-home" (toaster, dish soap, etc.). The few maintenance emergencies that took place (someone drove over a water spout and created a gusher, etc.) were swiftly handled by the maintenance crew. There is a full length pool table (which was always available), shuffleboard, good gym (nice collection of weights/equipment for such a small room), and propane fire pits at both pools. The location is slightly away from town and there is a pronounced peaceful (almost monastic) feeling in the air. Really a special little place, staffed with great people, at an excellent price for all you are getting.
Days after checking out I noticed my electricity bill was far too high (the cottages seem perfectly comfortable at 80 degrees). I called Wine Ridge, spoke to Carrie, and did not even get to finish my prepared evidence/speech. She got the dates, looked into the invoice, told me the simple error that occurred, started firing off numbers like a super computer, and said I could expect to see my credit in 5 to 7 days. That really sums up the Wine Ridge RV Resort and Cottages. A beautiful property with great amenities all efficiently maintained by a superlative staff.
I’ve been a dedicated customer for many years, staff WAS always pleasant. I paid for a special they offered last June; pay up front get 3 nights if paid in advance for 2 nights! I paid up front they told me I had a year to pick any day & could reschedule if needed any time! I did that I called to reschedule staff did not record (they told me) new management. Told them I’m a loyal customer & referred many people, I’m a USAF Veteran & referred many veterans in all my groups! I was never treated so cruelly like this new management is mad at the previous staff, it was awful! I took the brunt of their cruelty! How sad I truly enjoyed visiting there for over 5 years! New management ripped me off & treated me like a begging nuisance > SMH Never Again 🇺🇸☮️
We had a RV reservation with a pop up camper. The facility was beautiful but they close the rest rooms and showers from 9 pm until 7 am. This was not stated to us when we checked in. The flyer said pool and spa closed from 9 pm to 7 am. We had to go up the gas station on the corner when needed.
I met my cousin and his wife there for a few days. They were staying a month. Really nice clean and friendly place. They had a free Waffle bar for breakfast when I visited. Must always check out the weekly news letter! Two pools and one hot tub. Pickle ball was being played. The Resort is next to a vacant lot to run your Razors on and to go into the hills!
