Located West of Las Vegas. Take Charleston Blvd west to the recreation area. OR, from south Las Vegas Strip, take I-15 south to NV 160, then west to NV 159 north (Blue Diamond).
Red Rock Campground is fantabulously beautiful! Just 8-10 minutes from the closest grocery store, restaurants, banking, etc. Book online Tent & RV friendly, $25 a night plus $8.00 service fee. All camp sites have a picnic table, charcoal grill & fire pit with benches. Sites 1- 25 have covered patio. There also are 5 RV only camping sites in a secluded cul de sac type area but I've seen tents there on a few occasions. Also first come first serve walk to tenting sites. Bathrooms & potable water throughout. No hook ups. I love it!
Phenomenal campground - plenty of bathrooms, most sites feature a metal canopy, picnic table, fire pit with benches, and a grill. Beautiful dawn and dusk views when the sun hits the hillsides.
Very nice and pleasant hosts (might be rangers) that were very diligent in making rounds and ensuring all was good in the campground. Nice campsites, some would require more leveling of your RV than others. Overall, we enjoyed the campground tremendously as it was quiet and close by to trails and the canyon drive.
