Best kept secret in the Denali State Park! I learned so much from Richie and Emily about mushing, and they were so accommodating and welcoming of complete newbies to the sport! So off the beaten path, and I loved supporting a small, local business. The dogs are so sweet and loving, also. Emily’s little gift shop is super cute, too - lots of jewelry and small-batch things for purchase. BOOK A TOUR HERE! It’s worth every penny.

Such an amazing Tour and Ride!!! The intimate tour by Emily ans Richie (past and current Mushers for Iditarod and Yukon Quest) gave us such an amazing glimpse into the amount of work and love that goes into raising these dogs and teaching them to be professional racers. Their passion for the sport and for their dogs was so evident and we were so inspired by their story! You will not see any large tour buses here yet this is so easy to get to off the highway coming from or going to Denali national Park. It was great to have all of our questions answered and get to play with the dogs! But really the best part was actually getting pulled by this team of dogs through the beautiful forest and across a river near their property! So worth it to actually feel their strength and see them at work

Had a great time today taking a dog mushing tour. There is plenty of time to get the know the dogs and take pictures. There is also a great informative talk about what goes into a dog mushing race, training, and equipment.

Richie and Emily were great hosts and obviously passionate about what they do. Highly recommend taking a tour with them!

Richie and Emily were fantastic to meet and learn about their passion. It's off the beaten path, but highly, highly recommended. Learned a ton about sledding. Picked up some cool swag and sponsored one of their retired dogs, I think her name was Wanda.
