I would give this Campground a zero if you could write a review with zero, I've been in all 50 states stayed in hundreds of campgrounds and this is the first Campground within 3 hours of being there I had something stolen. I hung an expensive pair of rain pants on the front door awning, and we went out to town to get something, when we came back they were gone. Homeless people walking the railroad tracks right in front of the campground walk into the Campground. I did call the office when I left because we were supposed to be there two night and let them know that I wouldn't be there the second night that they can reimburse me if they want to but I didn't feel like having anything else stolen off my rig, but of course I didn't get any response.
The people ragging on this place need to chill. This is a great spot and you don't feel you are that close to downtown. Yes, a few trains, so what. A few planes, so what. It was clean, and easy access spaces. Nice managers. Easy to Uber to restaurants. There is a security patrol and high fence, so comments about homeless problems are out of date. Would stay here again 👍👌🤠
This is a great place if your looking for a convenient location in Anchorage. The park is located next to a railroad which goes through a few times a day but otherwise it’s a nice location. We spent two nights here and felt very safe. Their laundry facilities were wonderful. The bathrooms are outdated but kept very clean. Showers are hot and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
