My family and I stayed at Box Canyon Cabins for 4 nights and absolutely loved the accommodations! We stayed in Bear’s Den and Eagle’s Nest. The cabins were perfectly equipped with everything we needed and were very clean. The outside area was amazing and we enjoyed time around the fire pit every night. We also saw a moose right in our front yard! The hosts were very welcoming with a lot of knowledge of activities in Seward and were very responsive. We highly recommend staying here!

We spent one night in the Bears Den Cabin and we were thrilled with Box Canyon Cabins! It's so conveniently close to Seward, but you still feel like you are out in the woods. The property is gorgeous. The pond and the landscaping and flowers were lovely. My little grandson had a ball tossing pine cones off the little bridge and watching them bob away down the little stream. The fire pit area was great but we went to bed early and didn't make it back out to sit by the fire. The other "cabins" were all occupied but it was still quiet and private. It was so nice having two separate bedrooms (with comfy beds!) The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes/cookware and there were even coffee filters and coffee. Super clean and the bathroom was roomy. The shower floor was a little slippery, a rubber mat or stick on decals would be a nice touch. The play area is no longer there sadly, our hosts said it was a casualty of winter. While that would have been fun for the little guy we would go back in a heartbeat and in fact are hoping to return with some other family members. Great hosts...very friendly. There is also a place very close by which had amazing sweet and savory crepes.

This is a little hidden gem. The grounds are maintained beautifully, the cabin was comfortable and spacious and adorable. Nice, quiet spot! We even saw a mama and baby moose right out our front door! Thank you!!

We stayed in the Wolf Cabin. It was very comfortable with two separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room, and a bathroom. There are freestanding heaters in every room. There were plenty of amenities available - more than enough towels, lots of coat hooks (good for the wet weather), a coffee machine with coffee grounds to make your own, and even some oatmeal packets. The common grounds are beautiful with two fire pits and a pond.

I did not check out the laundry, but it is available. The wifi was very spotty and poor. It was better not to use the wifi.

Beautiful grounds, quiet, but close to Seward! We stayed in the Bear's Den and had plenty of room for two couples (we were visiting Alaska with my parents).

We sat out by the fire pit at the end of every evening, it was just so nice!!

Next visit to Alaska will for sure involve us staying at Box Canyon Cabins again!!
