This recreation area is part of Lewis and Clark Lake
The location is perfect, the grounds has a tidy water fill station, a spacious dump station. Still only one dump station that I found. Pads are pretty flat, but narrow. Make sure you research the pad depth before booking a site. Phone service is spotty. A nice place to bike within the campgrounds. A full service Marina was available, however closed when I was there. More shade in the East side of the grounds than West. Simply awesome views of the cliffs across the lake. A good amount of boat traffic. Will return.
Very nice place to stay. Bring quarters or have a self contained unit, all showers require quarters. But this place is super clean. Very polite and considerate service. Quiet, peaceful and scenic! Lots of things to do! Beach, marina, mini mart with pizza breakfast items ice cream, slushy and so much more. Reasonably priced. Soda packs were just a bit higher then a reg store so not bad for no travel and relaxing by the water!! I'd highly recommend!!
We have stayed here last three years and bathroom was not good. Men's bathroom easy out of paper towels for three days in a row and sink plugged up for two days huge spider's also going to go to SD side next year much cleaner and cheaper
Camping spots are beautiful and flat pads. Marina is very nice. Four boat ramps, gas for boats, well stocked store. Shower houses are clean. They need to spray for bugs in bathrooms and showers.
