The lake is nice but the restrooms and showers were absolutely filthy. I had read the reviews and I was expecting it to be nice. I'm only giving a 3 to Mother Nature, but the park system would get a zero if I could seperate it. They should do better.
Hook ups or primitive, it's a great camping experience. Easy access to the water. Great for kayaking, boating, jet skiing, canoeing. Plenty of restrooms that are refreshed daily. Pets are allowed.
Nice campground facilities and fish clean stations. Water is really down and it's only April. Sad, but still pretty. Saw some geese.
