Spent the weekend there for a much needed vacation. It was way cool and way retro!!! Perfect motel for the hipster in need of a green vacation or family traveling through. One can go to the geographical center of the U.S, or check out the awesome downtown area. There is a Subway, a couple of cafe's, and other points of interest down the road from the motel. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, air conditioned, and peaceful. A must if you are in the area. Service was awesome!!! Great place also if one was a hunter and needs a place to stay for hunting season.
GREAT little motel! It’s not the Hilton, so if you’re expecting that you’ll be disappointed. But it was PERFECT for me! Previous reviews had said no refrigerator/microwave in the rooms but both were present. Has wi-fi, TV (which I never turned on!), great shower (tub/toilet has separate room from sink which I love!), good hot water, 2 double beds. Very clean & neat. Cleaning service every day I was here. FANTASTIC front office people! Very kind, helpful folks. I would definitely stay here again.
After the lion's share through 400 miles of 98 degree heat across the plains on a motorcycle, I was sure glad I booked a res with Stan at Green Acres. When I arrived, daughter Esther signed me up and gave me the key to a clean room, clean bathroom, working AC unit, & a comfortable bed. She was so gracious; Esther even chuckled politely at my feeble jokes. A reasonable fee for such a great old school experience. Did I mention the AC was working awesomely? Thank you Green Acres!!
I gave this place all 5s because I didn't go in thinking we were getting a luxury place. The rooms were clean and the gentleman that checked us in was very kind. Beds served the purpose and same for the shower. It's simply a nice old model.
