Amazing views sunsets are stellar. There were sea otters out feeding in the sea I could see from our camp site. It was cool watching the surfers also. No running water. Bathroom has flushing toilets but no sinks, but they are clean and has hand sanitizer on the door. We will be back and bring the family next time.
The best place to relax, fish and spend time with my family and friends! And also me and my husband's favorite last minute mini vacays to get away to.. We never skipped a summer without going here.. This place is first comes first serve so it works best with planning our last minute weekend getaway!! So it's so sad to hear that they would turn it into a reservation site😭😭😭... I also love making new friends here and becoming our extended family 👪😊
To the Olympic National Park, please don't turn this site as a reservation campsite!!
Spectacular views and nice campsites. No water and electric hookups. Special place. The surf will rock you to sleep
A lovely little find ! With the exceptional help from the ‘hostess with the mostest’, we nested into a great spot for the night. Had it been a reservation only camp ground, I don’t think we would’ve been able to stay as we were ‘winging it’ down the coast. We hope the parks department will leave this one ‘first come’ basis ! The “south beach shuffle” is fun if you’re staying a few nights !
A fine, simple, oceanfront camp spot with wonderful hosts !
Loved our stay here in August 2023. FCFS so get here early to snag a spot. Make friends with folks in the beachfront spots so if they’re leaving the next day you can put chairs in their spot and move as soon as they leave 😉. It’s known as the South Beach Shuffle. 😄.
Bathrooms were clean enough and we really enjoyed walking on the beach every day. Coulda stayed forever. ☺️
