Grayland is one of my favorite state parks in Washington. The grounds, restrooms and showers are very well kept. Camping spots on are larger than average and very flat making it easy to level a trailer. All the spaces in the upper camp grounds are full hook up, the lower spaces near the beach area partial hookup. There are trails to the the beach from the park or you can drive onto the beach from the road by the park entrance. Overall great park which is why I have returned time and time again.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL park. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

Clean, wide asphalt roads, RV sites are HUGE and asphalted as well. We had the coolest “magical forest” behind our site (99). We walked to the beach numerous times. It’s a short walk to the sand, but the beach is HUGE so about a 1/4 to the water from our site. There is beach access at the entrance to drive on and/or the beach and one a mile north as well. We used both. We have a 4x4 and had no trouble at either. Staff was super friendly. Even the dump station was immaculate. Tons of space to walk and ride bikes.

My son and I stayed in a yurt for two days. Ranger was helpful and kind. The yurt was clean and secure. The beds were comfortable. Most importantly for me, the heater worked beautifully. On clear nights we could easily see stars through the transparent dome. The beach was very close by and we were able to walk for a while watching the surf and Plovers.

Very well maintained, clean park. Our spot was paved and quite level. The beach area was quiet and clean. The site had plenty of room for our truck and 30 foot trailer.

Great campground! Will definitely stay again. The yurts are awesome, have electric heaters and 2 outlets. They each have a futon and a bunk bed. Could be comfier - be sure to bring your own bedding. The entire campground is very quiet and sites are spaced apart nicely. 10/10 trip except for our neighbors complained to the rangers about our dog barking at 2:00pm on a Saturday so that was disappointing.
