Experience Goldendale!
We're a friendly rural community known for our dark skies, world-class public observatory, and Stonehenge replica. Outdoor activities abound along with scenic drives, wineries, and breweries.
Come see the sites & stay a while...
Stargazers has the cleanest, nicest bathrooms we've ever encountered at a campground! The whole place is very tidy & well kept. Staff is friendly. It was quiet & peaceful. Location is excellent. Highly recommend!
As far as seeing any stars you can forget about it there are 3 to 4 Businesses all around the place. The only thing resembling a "Resort" would be their bathrooms , now those were outstanding. Honestly it was a glorified parking lot,, don't let the name fool you. We were quite disappointed., especially since l asked about the stars before making reservations. TnD
We originally planned to stay 10 nights but left early after a week primarily because there was really nothing to do in the Goldendale area. The park calls itself a resort but I would disagree. No pool, no garbage pickup, no propane, no activities, etc. Perfectly fine park for overnighting or a couple of nights. Nice, gravel sites with lots of grass areas for our dogs but no place to put dog waste accept the designated "dog park" which was just a corral in a back field. The plus was the staff. They were all awesome! Also, we were able to receive our Amazon packages which was extremely beneficial for us as full-time RVrs. We camped at Stargazers RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
The nicest bathroom, shower, and laundry facility I've seen at an RV park. Sparkling clean. The space, however, was mounded too much, making it impossible for us to be level, and one of our landing gear was significantly angled. It was treacherous stepping off our stairs onto a slant into the grass. The front desk was super nice.
