Bring your pets, your music, your 4x4s/ATVs/Dirtbikes and experience privacy and room to roam. Build your campfire and enjoy camping in a secluded spot that is still close enough to town to easily get your supplies.
From Hwy 178. take Larsen street south (the only direction it runs). We are the last two driveways on the left.
Very good trips booked with them (elephants+waterfall+rafting) and Chiang Rai temples. Good tour guides and very safe transportation! Lovely and helpful girl @ the agency too 🌸❤️🫶🏻 - I recomend it 100%!!
For my family of 9, I booked a private tour to Elephant Ecovalley and it was fantastic. Nana was excellent. (5/5)
However my parents also went for the group tour to the national park, the experience was okay, but perhaps it would have been better paying 2-3x more for the private tour! (3/5)
Overall though, I would highly recommend this agency. (hence the 4/5)
The team at Wandering Star are fantastic. Dao in the office was quick at responding and answering my questions and was super professional.
Nana and the driver Tum were excellent on the tour. Nana explained about what we were seeing as well as educating us on other cultural nuances and topics to do with Thai culture. She was a truly wonderful, kind and knowledgeable guide.
The tour organised a great itinerary to doi Inthanon and we had a fantastic lunch, all at places that were less busy.

Excellent agency with good prices and honest recommendations. Cat (I’m not sure if that’s the right name) was great at finding a solution for us - combining 2 tours into one (for the following day) and organising a car to take us to Doi Suthep temple the same day (driver waited for us at the temple). Very quick to respond and organise and the tour guides they partner with were amazing! We did a combination of elephant sanctuary (living green elephant sanctuary) and national park tour in one day. Our guide Rainbow and driver (Young Man was his nickname) were great - very engaging, funny and informative. We had only 2.5 days in Chiang Mai and Wondering Star tour made it possible to see quite a few things in such a short amount of time!
First time looking for a 4 days customized trip in Northern Thailand. Besides offering a very reasonable price, Ms. Dao is very patient and professional in advising my requirements. The driver (Mr. Bee) was also very honest and extremely helpful. Ms. Dao also made an effort to contact me after the trip. Great service!
