Get back to family fun at Dinosaurland KOA!
Built to accommodate the largest rigs on the road, the campground's upgraded RV Sites are the first to be booked. Fire pits, patios, pull thrus - this KOA has them ready and waiting. You'll be so comfortable you won't want to leave, but one of the most beautiful regions in all of Utah is waiting for you. Raft the Green and Yampa rivers, hike or bike the trails in the Uinta Mountains, fish the Flaming Gorge or one of the many nearby lakes. Ancient history beckons in Dry Fork Canyon as you explore the petroglyphs in search of the Three Kings. Save a day to spend at the Quarry Exhibit Hall at Dinosaur National Monument examining the wall of more than 1,500 fossils. Daily ranger programs educate both young and old about Utah's long-gone inhabitants at this state-of-the-art facility. If you want to kick back and relax, this KOA's heated pool is just the ticket, and you'll find the best stargazing around. Northeast Utah is calling your name! Max pull thru: 75 feet.

The most fun we have had on vacation in a long time! The staff were friendly and wonderful to work with when we had a minor issue with one of our cabins. The kids had a blast at the pool and the many activities available at the campground. This is our second experience at this campground, and each time has been perfect! We look forward to visiting again in the future!
I've stayed here 3 times now because I love it so much! The staff is super friendly and the cabins are always clean upon arrival. They have two separate bathroom/shower locations on site plus a game area and pool. The cabin was hot during our stay in July but it cooled off nicely at night. I will definitely stay here again.
Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣
Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town.
The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area.
Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.
We enjoyed this campground enough to stay an extra day. The location is great and we were able to quickly get to many of the surrounding area hiking trails, parks, and museums. The kids enjoyed the pool, the complementary mini golf and jumping pillow and the playground. The campground is well. Maintained. Our site accommodated our 45 foot motor home with now problem and the staff here is super. They’re friendly, accommodating, and clearly work hard to make this campground a clean and enjoyable Destination.
We had a great time at the KOA. What made it was the staff who were all really friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable (and helped to keep our kids entertained). It seems like they enjoy working there. The facilities were great - jump pad, playground, pool, mini golf, treasure hunt etc
