About Campground

Escalante Cabins & RV Park has the largest RV sites with full hookups, many of which are pull-through. Tent sites are convenient to clean bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. All cabins have full private bathrooms within the cabin. Escalante, Utah is central to Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and within day-tripping range of Bryce Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park.

RV's: All sites have full hook-ups. Some sites have as much as 1/2 acre of space around them. Many are pull through sites with views of the valley and cliffs. We offer the most spacious pull through, full hook-up RV sites in the area. They are designed to comfortably accommodate big rigs and smaller rigs alike. You can park your RV, toad, dinghy, motorcycle, or off-road vehicle in one convenient location. We also offer large & small back-in sites for longer stays at a discounted rate.

Tents: Our tent sites are great for a little camping for the entire crew to pitch a few tents. All sites are under the extraordinary dark sky at no extra charge!

Cabins: Waiting for your arrival are our cozy, comfortable, always-clean log cabins to give you the respite you need after a long day of adventure. In addition, the hilltop vacation homes have awesome mountain views!

We parked our RV here for three nights in November 2023. This was our second visit to this particular RV camping location. This is an ideal location for excursions to slot canyons, Bryce Canyon National Park, and more. Restrooms and laundry facilities are extremely clean. Park is quiet. We recommend to stay here.

Love this RV park in Escalante! It's well-situated and super clean. They've got recently updated showers - 4 of them - but there's more available. The laundry room caters to different load sizes with big and small washers. With full hookups and a pet-friendly policy. We'll stay again!

Great campground! Amazing staff. Shout out to Inn Keeper Scott... great conversation and stellar service!

Easy pull through spaces.

Great laundry room. Showers are decent, albeit a bit stuffy when in use.

Across the road from GSENM Visitor Centre, and drive to Slot Canyons etc.

It was our first time staying here and will definitely be back! We had a fantastic campsite and the washroom/shower facilities were 10/10 and everything was clean and quiet. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here if you’re exploring the Escalante area! Thanks for everything! Char & Chris from Vancouver, BC Canada

We had a great stay here over the weekend to watch the eclipse. The friendly staff welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable and had anything we needed. Our Cabin and RV site were both clean and ready when we arrived. We were impressed with the clean and spacious camp bathrooms/showers. Bed was comfortable and the cabin had a tankless hot water heater so we always had hot water for showers. We loved having a fridge, microwave and sink in the room. Camp was quiet at night. The location was convenient to surrounding day hikes/activities. We appreciated that our pets were also welcome here and that the staff were nice. Would definitely stay here again.
