From Rutland, stay on Rt. 7 South for 23.5 miles. Then, turn right onto Sweeney Lane and take an immediate left onto Emerald Lake Lane. From the south, stay on Rt. 7 North for 8 miles then turn left onto Sweeney Lane and take an immediate left onto Emerald Lake Lane.
I liked it so much I ended up staying an extra day! They also have lean-to spots. Very nice RV spots that have space between them. Checked out the beach, very clean and the water is a pretty emerald green!!
Hottest water of any shower I have ever had at a state campground. There may be black bears stealing your food. Wouldn't go out of the way but would stay there again. Site 41 is rather large and as far as campgrounds go fairly private.
The nature walk was awesome! We enjoyed spending some time at the beach too. Always great to be in beautiful surroundings.
Absolutely gorgeous! Workers are very happy and helpful. Campsites are big and nicely separated. Restrooms are clean. Showers don't have very warm water.
