Welcome to Whispering Pines Campground. We have recently purchased this long established park. Already we have made significant upgrades to many of the buildings and lot sites. Also, we are excited to now to have a great boat access on the Otter Creek so you can get out to Lake Champlain from here!
We look forward to meeting and accommodating you with a wonderful place to park your RV for a DayStay, Week or come join us for the whole Season!
Not recommended. Owners party every weekend, dogs and their friends dogs are loose and run everywhere even though they have a leash law. Rules seem to be for everyone but the owners. Owners not resonsive to emails or texts. Very noisy park in the evenings.
Love this little campground, under new ownership. Randy and Anna go above and beyond to make you feel welcome there. Close to town for shopping, lots to offer at the campground from low rates and lots of things for adults to do. Every night there is different activities and the people there make you feel you're right at home. Come and stay awhile, you'll love it.
What a wonderful place! I've been here for a month now, it's so peaceful. The people are friendly. It's everything I imagined! I would recommend a getaway here! To anyone.
My time there started out fine. Then I found out when it rained I had been set up in a GIANT mudpit with my 4 year old. She was not allowed to play without people complaining, went and bought bark collars for my dog's and was told if they didn't be quite i would have to get RID OF THEM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE staying at this place the owner tells you what you want to here to get you in there and then they makes up the rules as they go along. Not a good place at all.
It is a campground that gets you off the road and provides water and electric. There are apparently only two sites for travelers situated in a grassy area. The rest are all a collection of rvs and trailers of permanent or seasonal folks. There is a laundry and bathrooms in a house on the property. There is no office, owner or manager on site. One of the ladies across from the two sites came over to confirm that the spots we assumed to be available were indeed those for short stays, which was very helpful. I guess I expected more for the price charged.
