We camped here in a tent for five days in July. It's a great, family-friendly campground. Sites are not too close together, easy usage of boat launches and terrific lake-side access. Glad they sold ice at the entrance gate as no other stores are nearby. Water was crystal clear and plenty warm to have fun. Fellow campers respected quiet hours, and all dogs were under control. Great area for exploring. We brought bikes, SUPs, and kayaks. It was all wonderful. Not much of a cell signal here, which I enjoyed, but not everyone is okay with that. $1.25 gets you a twelve minute hot shower, which was super. As a tent camper, I do wish they had a separate area for tents, so we wouldn't be camping next to other people's generators. Another suggestion would be screen doors on the bathrooms so they wouldn't fill up with mosquitoes and moths. But it was a great camping experience, and we will definitely be back!

For a reasonable price, you can enjoy a hidden gem nestled among the mountains of Vermont. This state park has it all, open lawns, trails, a nice beach and a beautiful lake. Oh, I forgot to mention campgrounds. Lake St. Catherine state park is a lovely place to bring your kids for a day in the sun. Our family including our hound Huckleberry enjoyed a wonderful day there.

Its so beautiful here! I hadn't been since I was a kid and I just fell in love all over again. I love to get a good tan while at the beach and the mountains aren't too high so you really get more time in the sun in the evening at this spot. There's also a lot of trees so if you'd rather sit in the shade there's plenty of that too! There wasn't a concession stand when we went, I'm not sure if they usually have one or not but there are bathrooms and changing rooms.
