Booked a pull through "deluxe" site. Was disappointed to find that the paved site was uneven side to side and rig was still not level with blocks under one side. No sewer dump in the deluxe site, but we anticipated that from the description. Ran water only to find it had a strong sulfur smell, yuck. Seemed to dissipate through the weekend as more campers arrived. Campground was peaceful and quiet despite being fully booked. Dump station was on an uphill incline, winding through sites with vehicles parked close to the path. No staff around to direct traffic on Sunday check out, other campers had a hold traffic on one way narrow pathway.
It's a campground/RV park. Sites were level and paved. No sewer hookup but dump station and power/water. 30/50 amp service pull through. Getting to the dump station was a bit of a challenge. Wi-Fi is basically non-existent. Our site had lots of mosquitoes. Nice camp store. A bit pricey for what it is.
We had an in joying stay at this KOA camp ground. The campground itself is very nice and clean, we did find dog poop on our site but I think that was a bad camper not cleaning up after there dog. The bathhouse was very clean and very well-maintained. The Kim store was very nice and prices were reasonable .The site we were on seemed very close to the sites around us, but we still enjoyed ourselves and head. Very nice neighbors. Lake is beautiful and full of fish if you a fisherman. He found only a few small drawbacks. One our picnic table was not in the best of shape. The wood was warped in Madrid. The benches was falling off. The pool, so nice is a bit on the small side so it gets very crowded with the campus busy. The arcade is OK but a lot of the games were out of service while we were there including the machine to give you quarters. Just an FYI the cell service there is not the best and the WiFi is vary slow wen the campground is busy. We will definitely think about going back sometime and recommended others.
I suggest before visiting this place that you make sure you have all the things you need in addition to assistance to setup your area and make sure your family is and will feel comfortable. As I usually say to each his own but for me and the amount of money I spent I wasn't able to actually enjoy the entire summer there and spent more time interrupted and constantly on guard bringing your RV there is one of the best things you could possibly do for yourself and your family and so just make sure to visit before making the decision to book your time and pay money in large amounts to stay there for the season. Maybe's people be blessed and I hope that they learn to appreciate the people that pay in full and our kind and treat them with respect.
