Beautiful small lake, super quiet, lots of fish, bathrooms were clean and smelled nice due to no fewer than 8 car fresheners hung everywhere.
An hour drive from Moab. The last 30 minutes is a rough twisting gravel road, through and along a beautiful birch forest. The far side of the lake is very soft and boggy. Highly recommend waders. I went an hour a half before sunset in July, there were so many rainbow trout rising I lost count. It was a dry fly paradise. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful area. Be sure to hit it when the leaves turn. Need to bring a camper next time!
