Nice quiet Park lots of room. There was only two little issues we had. The water spicket you share with another camper luckily we have a splitter. And the second thing was the two big rocks at the end of your campsite.

We rented 2 sites for 2 nights. When we arrived they were taken. Half of our party had to go elsewhere because there was only 1 site left. The host frankly doesn't appear to be capable of doing his job. Manager refused to refund. Never again. POOR MANAGEMENT! Prepay at your own risk.

Hook ups were nice and functional. We reserved our spots in the premium area (grassy area) prior to coming out only to find other campers had taken them. We told the camp host and they said too bad and that we were too late (for spots we had reservations for the whole weekend for. ) Host let us set up at a different site at the gravel camp area. Host collected rent for the spot from other campers and refused to refund our camp spots. If you make a reservation make sure you show up early or your spot will be sold without notice.

Sadly, one of our trucks broke down right off the exit and we thought our weekend was gonna be screwed and we were just gonna go home. I looked at Google maps and seen that this was just behind the Chevron. We decided to check it out since it was getting too late and dark to do much else.

The lady there was so wonderful and sweet. She was excited to have us, as there were only one other trailer. She loved our pups and didn't make us leash them. It was Easter weekend and she gave us a bunch of filled eggs for the kids and even some with dog treats for the pups. So we did an Easter egg hunt around the trailer. She was so helpful, telling us where showers, washer and dryers were and where the big fire pit was and a hose in case the wind picked up. She also told us where some close trails were to take the atv's. We got lucky to come across this little gem on an otherwise awful road trip.

Even though this wasn't our original plan, it worked out great. I would definitely love to stop here again if I ever need to stay in the area again.

I wish i could do 4.5 stars but unfortunately have to do 4 stars. Cove Fort is great, lets get that established. The mountains behind and views are awesome, the location is smack dab in the center of Southern Ca and Eastern Idaho, and the staff is extremely nice. Tammy is awesome, very helpful. She makes sure you’re set up, tries to put you in a spot you can get in with large toy haulers, and they love dogs, they played fetch with our chocolate labs, they chatted for a few minutes, very wholesome. The ONLY reason for the 4 stars is the weeds were pretty overwhelming. A lot stood 3 foot tall near the utility hook ups and the spot had a bunch of them and they are the sharp pokey ones too.

Overall, fantastic stop. Grass is nice, views are great, staff is fantastic. Don’t blink and you’ll drive right by, enter from the Chevron and drive past the mechanic shop. Thanks Tammy!
