The Murdock Canal Trail is a must for people who want to get some cardio, or even just want a leisure stroll overlooking the valley. It is nicely paved with negligible ups and downs. The view is great and a little physical activity will boost the mood. I recommend it.

They need to install a refrigerated water fountain like the one at Wade Springs. In the afternoon the water is very warm with the sun beating on the fountain. Otherwise everything is good.

Beautiful trail with a gorgeous sunset an amazing view of the valley lights night. Just before the sun begins to set is the prime time to leisurely make your way down the trail. And I mean leisurely, because my first time on this trail I was beyond great full to find that other than the occasional little hill or valley it's miraculously almost level. Which has allowed me to effortlessly ride my longboard from near pleasant Grove High school to cedar hills and beyond and back!
