The area is beautiful with low scrub brush, views of gorgeous rock formations, access to the water, and well kept camp sites. Roy, the manager, is pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about the area. There are no showers but the bathrooms have running water and flushable toilets. They are clean and well kept. There are reserved spots as well as first come first serve sites with affordable prices. This family friendly camping park is a hidden gem in a secluded part of the Green River/Flaming Gorge area.
Beautiful! Absolutely love it. If you’re looking for a sunset spot, this is it!
Our host was laid-back and courteous. Due to the openness of the surrounding landscape you can see for miles, which makes for great star gazing. You can here coyotes at night, which is fun, but there is a castle barrier that mostly keeps them out. If you are tent camping, be wary of red ants.
We were at the group site and loved that we could spread out away from everyone else due to covid. The beach does have rocks and group 4 has cliffs that come off the campground so we had to watch the little late kids..but we had a great time. Taking about going again next year.
Nice in between campground. Great for tents or trailers but no hook ups for trailers. Flush toilets but bring your own soap. Friendly camp hosts and quick access to a boat ramp, fishing and swimming. A little farther than some of the campgrounds but not nearly as crowded so more peaceful. Enjoyed camping here!
