Standard sites without electric or other hookups. Toilets available close by.
Drinking water on site.
Clean private Hot showers, flush toilets, beautiful scene, water front is a vertical hike. Rockie Mountain rocks everywhere. There really was an owl there almost every night. 5400 feet high brings cool nights. Tie your tent down we had a few suprize winds and rains. Mountain prevent weather radar from detecting these storms. Camp sites are better for motor homes than tents as the spaces are small, but no hookups.
Campground host were very friendly. However..reserve America stated our spot was going to be "full shade".We had no generator which is why we chose it.There may be 3 spots in the entire campground with full shade. The hosts have one of them. We had one tiny sapling of a tree in our spot. Which gave about a 3- 4ft diameter spot of shade. Far from "full". Campspots are very close to each other as well. This was our first time staying at deer creek. I will pay a bit extra and get full hook ups next time. Was extremely hot.I can't blame the campground for the misleading description. But someone needs to definitely verify amenity information.
This is a great place for boaters. It had a wonderful view of a pristine lake.
Love the state park .. it is rightly located in mountains to have great weather, has great view of the lake and people can get to water in less than few miles.
Located inside Deer Creek State Park, primitive RV and tent sites. Water available at varies spigots, modern restroom. We stayed in the RV campground which is on the property. Nice facilities and friendly staff
