THIS IS A RV CAMPGROUND, SO IT DOESN'T HAVE ROOMS, Google! Convienient location, but a bit of a cramped layout. Only a few pull thru sites for large RVs, the rest are back ins. Nice grounds, a play area and a small pool. Laundry on site.
I pitched a tent so base my review off that but if you are tenting it make sure to bring ear plugs. The road is loud and it kept me up all night. Also with the office closing at 7 pm there is no enforcement of any type of quiet hours. People were up all night playing music and being loud. The trailers are packed in like sardines so if your neighbors are loud you will hear it. I arrived after 7 pm and it was difficult to find my spot so I just threw down where I wanted. I would return but now I know the situation.
If you are into "Dilapidated Americana," this resort is for you. I got a walk-in spot for the Ed "Big Daddy" Roth Car Show and Reunion, and wondered why there were so many open spots. After two nights, I understood. The campground is a shell of its former days. The buildings are run down, the pool is closed, and the bathrooms are an absolute horror show. The showers are infested with black mold and the toilets were plugged and overflowing with unspeakable contents. I have never felt more fortunate to have a working toilet in my RV. Quiet hour is posted, but not enforced. Fire rings are shared, so hope you get good neighbors.
I would say that if I was in the $20 to $30 range, I would be satisfied; however, $173.51 for two nights reinforces lazy management. Unless you are in desperate need of a fully dressed set to film a teenage slasher movie, keep driving. There are better places for your money.
I will say that the only thing going for this campground is the location. It is North of the temple, with a nice view, and centrally located in Manti.
The location to trails is wonderful but that is where it ends. The place is a mess. We could not sit on the picnic tables for fear of splinters. We would have felt better if some looked ok figuring it was something that they were working on to improve. Not one table in the area was inhabitable. They say they have Internet, then they told us it it sketchy at best. We were told it “works best by the restrooms.” Really?i had work to do. The weeds were awful so actually did not want to sit out and look at the picture of the tree in the volleyball court Rumor was that the laundry facility does not work We left a day early. Never again. We will dry camp in f we ever come up here again.
We rented the cabin and stayed 2 nights to watch the annular Eclipse. We loved having some free space and the hill to hike up, with kids.
This is not a resort(anymore). It's a camp site. The cabin has electricity, a full sized fridge/freezer, a plugin heater. We loved having that comfort, but then being able to go outside and feel like we're camping. It is a bit rundown.
We had a designated fire pit near our parking stall. The picnic tables are old/unstable but we made it work. The bathrooms (off the main office building) had warm running water and showers. I was expecting a lot worse based off other reviews but they were clean.
