From Heber City, UT, take US Rt. 40 east 21.7 miles to Strawberry Bay sign (Forest Rt. 131). Turn right after the sign onto Rt. 131 and go 13.7 miles to Renegade Point campground sign. Turn right at sign in to campground.
A little out of the way but if ypur fishing Renegade it's a great spot to camp
Our visit lasted over the busy Pioneer Day weekend. Before Pioneer Day and after everyone had left we had a nice quiet campground to stay in. Friday and Saturday were very busy, but for the most part the spaces in the campground are well spaced. The campground hosts Pam & Jerry were wonderful to deal with. They had a tough management challenge on the crowded weekend (water pump went out, so no toilets for tent campers) which they handled cheerfully and professionally, offering tent campers a site at another campground. In all the years we have camped at state and federal campgrounds, they rank near the top of campground hosts that we have dealt with and made our stay very pleasant.
We brought are family of 9 for a 3 day camp trip Jerry and Pam are absolutely amazing camp attendants very friendly and making sure we are good and we have everything we need. Craig at the marina was absolutely amazing also we rented a boat from him and it was great. We will be back for sure. The bathrooms were very clean and our campsite was beautiful.
Chill spot to go with the family. Very close to the boat drop off where you can fish and the kids can swim there as well. Definitely will be going here again.
It was very nice and quite place to enjoy.
Maintained well and toilet was very clean.
Camping host was very friendly and make sure everything was ok.
I recommend this place for camping, if you are looking for quite and peaceful place. this is best.
