Great place to beat the heat during hot summer days, and spend time with the family fishing and off-roading.
Three creeks is a fun spot. I have never seen many people here, so if you are wanting to avoid the crowds at Kent's lakes it is a good alternative. There are some rocks on the north end next to the lake if you want to cliff dive, and the views are amazing.
Finally enough water for everyone to enjoy. It's been so empty the past few years
Sadly we had plans to come watch the eclipse here. Thought the kids could have a good time while we waited for the ring of fire. Sadly the reservoir is all but gone. We found that it is draining possibly to keep sending water down to a small hydro electric station. But I figured we should send pics so no one else makes the trip to find a dried hole in the earth. We still had a great time hiking around and it was not busy at all.
