Decent site. Fairly well known and traveled. The ground and fields are Rocky. You can hear/see the highway from here. The little stream is nice.

Camped here in a mini van july 2 2019. The road was easy to find and navigate. We found a spot at twilight near the creak with a fire ring and cooked some steaks, then sat and enjoyed the most endless stars before going to bed. There was one camper when we arrived and a newcomer as we were settling in. Someone came driving loudly through around midnight in an atv, but it didn't last long. Woke up to some cows drinking from the creek but not in our little setup. Wish we were there now. Please take your trash with you and clean up your sight before going. Bring your water and firewood. There are no toilets so bring something to deal with that too!

Update: camped here again in May of 2022, only this time with a tent, boy was it cold! We had to abandon the tent and climb in the car and shivered all night. The campground was just as beautiful as I remembered it, but now I can add the warning, be prepared for very cold weather, even when it’s hot everywhere else. There was a small party going on when we arrived, but they kept to themselves, and stopped the noise at a decent hour.

This might be a great place if you have a tiny 4x4 vehicle, but don't even think of trying to get to this or it's sister campground further south in an RV. After having to back up a good distance to turn around after we crossed under the I-70, we ended up camping in the middle of a field at one of two small pull-offs as soon as you leave the pavement.

This is a beautiful little campground. We had three trailers in here and still had plenty of still room. The trees provide great shade. It is close to the freeway, but the running creek drowns out the noise. Fun place to camp. No amenities. Just a fire pit and nature.
