I am surprised this is not a Protected Area. It should be a State Park. A true hidden gem, that I wish I would have found earlier
This is a nice place to camp but you must bring everything that you will need. This is mostly a tent camping area.
Wow what a neat place. The drive was more than I first expected but not too bad. Once we got there beautiful views and lots of peace and quiet off the beaten path
Pine Park is located 25 miles west of Enterprise in Washington County and the Dixie National Forest. We turned left off the Crest Line Road about 15 miles west. The road to Pine Park from the turn off is a good dirt road, but I would not take my street car on this road. The valley is a beautiful valley line with white sedimentary rocks, white sandstone juniper tress and pinion pine. When you get to the bottom of the valley there are large Ponderosa Pines. A small stream runs through the wilderness campground. Take drinking water.
