What a cute roadside motel in downtown Beaver, UT. This lovely place is a throwback to simpler times. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows could use a refresher but we still got a restful night’s sleep. We will definitely remember these guys the next time we pass through.
BEST rooms with the BEST staff!! Any time we need a place to stay in Beaver this is the motel we stay at. Very clean & well taken care of. You won’t be disappointed!! :)
We stoped at the DeLano Motel during our trip. This was our first stop, and we really enjoyed staying there. The motel was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Young woman from the reception was very friendly, gave us recommendations on places to eat and interesting things to see in the area, she also brought us everything we asked for. Also, we liked the painting on the wall in our room)) Thanks to the owners and staff of the motel for the good service and creation of a cozy atmosphere.
We stopped on our way through to Colorado. It was a wonderful experience. It's a small 10 room family owned motel that you can tell takes a great amount of pride in their establishment. Perfect place for a clean, no-nonsense bed and friendly staff.
Pluses: I was able to park right outside my room (#3). Finishes in the room appeared to have been re-done very recently. The bed was comfortable, and there was a convenient writing desk. I only dealt with the check-in staff person, but she was very cordial/helpful. The room was a good value for the price.
Minuses: It was unfortunate that when they remodeled the room, they did not replace the shower door and it did not close fully. In addition, while housekeeping had the rest of the room immaculate there was what appeared to be mold in shower tile seams.
***Update: 10/23/23 It has been 3 weeks since I stayed at the Delano Motel, and I still have a $100 charge on my credit card for a security deposit. I had to file a dispute w/ my credit card company...don't need this kind of aggravation in my life. This is bordering on ridiculous. I can assure you, there were NO damages to the room caused in a 1-night stay by a 72 yo retired financial executive. My service rating is dropping from a 5-star to a 1-star.
***Update: 10/25/2023 I appreciate owner's response but I still have an issue with the $100 deposit amount. I do a great deal of traveling and I have NEVER had a hotel deposit remain on my credit card account for anywhere near THREE weeks. Clearly, there is something about the way the DeLano Motel handles its deposits that results in this unacceptable length of time. My review stands as written.
