One of the best overview point of Canyon at nearby place of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, Utah. The river Colorado is taking 280° of turn here makes this canyon a most beautiful place.
22 miles off the Paved road, remote and isolated out side of the park system is a hidden gem of a slot canyon. most famous for the High Art Gallery, there are a few smaller panels in the canyon as well, but the hike down and into the canyon and its main feature is beautiful in its own right. You can camp on the rim and there is a toilet there, no water, and bring your own firewood. All the photos attached to the other reviews are actually of Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River in Arizona. Not sure how someone posting could be so confused, unless they haven't been to either of the locations. No Idea how to get google to fix it either.

The Horseshoe Canyon trail is amazing! You get to walk down and through a canyon surrounded by majestic rock faces with very unique artwork on some of them. It's a hidden gem.
We did this trip a couple of years ago, it's about 30 miles on a dirt road and then the trail is 6.5 miles round trip. You have to go down the hill to the canyon and then the road is quite even. It is worth doing but make sure you bring everything you need.
