We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave! Thank you, Jan & Scott. It is obvious that a lot of planning and thought went into developing your land and yurts and that you are passionate about what you do. Our yurt (Elm) was beautiful, clean, comfortable and luxurious. The decor and furniture was really nice. The little details like really soft, fresh smelling towels, high quality, soft sheets, dish soap to wash all of our water bottles from hiking!, and breakfast delivered to the yurt each day made your accommodations stand out. The location was perfect - a mile or so from the town of Escalante and close to so many hikes and parks. We drove an hour to Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome Basin State parks. If you are considering booking a yurt, please do, you will enjoy it! Also, check out Escalante Yurts' website for hike suggestions.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Aspen yurt and it was perfect! The yurt was warm, cozy, clean and has everything you need. Jan and Scott are wonderful, attentive hosts and they even included a small surprise (cider, snacks and a thank you note) in the yurt to celebrate the new year. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway or when visiting the nearby national parks.

My first time staying in a yurt and I loved it. I’d definitely stay there again. We were warm enough with the heater even though the temperatures were below 20. The breakfast muffins were delicious from a local bakery. A lot of nice touches in the room to make it homey. We drove to Hell’s backbone bar and grill for dinner and that was great too.

We loved our stay!!! We came during the winter and the yurts were the perfect place to return to after a long, snowy hike. We stayed in one of the larger ones and it was perfect - the fireplace was my favorite part after a long day.

Jan and Scott are amazing and were super helpful and knowledgeable during our stay - pointing us in the direction of a lot hidden gems.

If I could add one thing to a wish list it would be a hot tub on the property - that would have been perfect during the cold! :)

We’ll definitely be back and use the yurts as basis for further exploration of the area.

My girlfriend and I loved escaping to Escalante Yurts for the weekend! It was easy to get to, and the location provided us easy accessibility to some of the popular hiking spots.

The yurt itself was super nice and cozy. We were actually shocked by all of the accommodations they provide in the yurt. We brought our own food since there aren’t many restaurants in the area, but the amazing staff left us breakfast each morning.

We are looking forward to the next time we can come stay there.
