Turn left after sign onto Rt. 221 and immediately bear left, staying on Rt. 221, and go 10.8 miles to Spirit Lake sign (Forest Rt. 001). Turn left after sign onto Rt. 001 and go 6.2 miles to campground.
Had a great experience at spirit lake especially at this time of the year mid October. JORDAN was very helpful . This place is only going to get better. Fishing at the lake was easy for the whole family. Hike to Tamarack lake and catch big fish or go to sheep creek lake and catch some big cutthroats.
This place is terrible! There are way too many mosquitos to have any enjoyment outside and the fishing was horrible.
It was a nice campground to ride in on a motorcycle and tent camp. The sites are a bit close together, and quite a few RVs. The road sin/out are gravel, so plan accordingly.
Camped here for a few days and it was BEAUTIFUL! Also has some really great looking cabins to rent as well.
Went up here for a family reunion and had the whole place rented, it was amazing! Saw several moose in the meadow by one of the nearby lakes on a hike. The camp hosts kept the toilets clean and the lodge was nice. The hosts were super nice, accommodating, and helpful. Just overall great to work with. Would go back for sure.
