Greetings fellow Elks

On our last visit to your great facility we encountered a very serious issue involving your ER. On Nov. 8 my wife and I visited your Elks for steak night and to celebrate our 37 th anniversary.

My wife has a certified Yorky as a support animal. We selected a table in the back corner of the dining area so we would not create a problem, It happened to be next to the ERs table.

We were there about an hour and the

ER noticed the Yorky, he jumped out of his seat and charged to our table, leaning over with hands placed on table in a very aggressive manner .

Told us dogs are not allowed and we need to remove him. I stated that he is a support animal. He then wanted to argue about if he was or not a service animal. My wife and myself are becoming very upset. The ERs wife called him back to there table telling him to forget about it. At that point my wife is so upset that she took her service animal outside. I then locate

the service animals certification

from my wife’s purse and present it to the ER. His response was , ok now don’t bother me. He neither apologized for his aggression or his actions.

If he had responded as a ER should have ( welcome to our lodge I am ER and we have a no animal policy in less he is a service animal, is he a service animal? Thank you and welcome).

We are still upset with your ERs actions.

Your fellow Elks Larry and Rae

Beautiful spot overlooking the golf course and RV's back up to these beautiful red cliffs.

12 spots, electric only but dump and water available along with use of washer & dryer and sink. Would have given 5 stars if Lodge had been open at least once. On our travels I collect the lodge pins, disappointed I couldn't add Utah to my hat .

Host on site very helpful with information and has established an informational brochure center inside complimentary laundry room and sinks area. Bathrooms clean and sanitized if needed. Pet owners respectful of established dog walk areas and very clean. Checked in @ Lodge bar area and greeted by fast service. Stayed at this location multiple nights on 2 recent occasions.

Stayed in the RV lot, obtained the last site with power. Off season and still full, the only issue is it's popularity, sites fill up fast. Camp host was helpful, pointing out dump area and fresh water fill location. Once the sites fill up, I believe there are 13 sites with power, there are dry spots available. The lodge is perched on top of a secluded driveway overlooking a beautiful golf course. There are outdoor eating areas also overlooking the golf course. Next visit I will definitely stay longer to enjoy the whole area.
