Haven't frequented in over a year, but was always ran and owned by nice down to earth people. Family friendly, pet friendly too I believe. As long as lake Ontario isn't flooding, there's lots of room for different types of camping, whether by tent, camper, RV, or cabin. Great fishing on premises too. Great restaurant/diner close by if you don't feel like cooking as well. I'd say tell Sal I said hello and I sent you, but if you did, he'd probably give you hell.. 🙃

Beautiful place , with very nice staff well kept and quiet . Animal friendly and spacious park with nice walking trails and open fields for the dogs to play . There is a stream that runs next to the camp for semi private fishing and a shower/facility building . The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because there is no on site stores and hot water in the shower house is $0.50 for 5 minutes , very affordable but unexpected. All in all a great affordable place to camp or just get away that I'd definitely recommend.

Great place to get away from city & cramped campgrounds. Very friendly, dog friendly, quiet, peaceful, see the stars. You can bring your skiff, kayak, or paddle board to fish/boating on Grindstone Creek, cookouts & smores at your campfire. Lots of places closeby to eat, putt-putt golf, golf range, go karts & ice cream.

We stayed here overnight twice in August 2019 and are hoping for a spot again in fall when the salmon are running. We are simple people and the campground suited all our needs. Electric hook ups and huge clean bathrooms with showers! The creek was a beautiful site to wake up to. Selkirk park close by, a short drive to salmon river huge sites across from the creek. Had a great relaxing time walking, sitting around the fire and looking at the stars. Tried a little fishing but no luck (we love fishing but don’t catch much) nice place to spend quite time together as a family with no distractions. We will be back. Hubby is calling today to see if we can get a site this weekend for a quick get away 😍🎣⛺️🚐
