About Campground

Welcome to Camp Hudson Pines. We are a 40 acre campground located on the pristine waters of the upper Hudson River inside the blueline of the Adirondack Park.

Located 15 miles south of Lake George and 17 miles north of Saratoga Springs we are at the gateway to exploring the Adirondacks. You can kayak the Hudson, hike one of the tall peaks, go the racetracks, ski down a mountain, enjoy the fall leaves or sit around the fire and roast s’mores. We believe there is no right way to explore nature. So come, and partake of a piece of the forever wild Adirondacks.

At Hudson Pines we have five cabins, four right on the river. We have 78 sites that are a combination of RV and tent sites. We have a heated pool, docks for boats, a large grassy waterfront area with an area for swimming in the river and 40 acres to explore.

My granddaughter had state champion ski racing at West Mountain. Instead of getting a boring hotel we chose Camp Hudson Pine. The cottage is fantastic! Only 15 minutes from the ski resort, right out side of a town so gas and food were close by. We couldn't be happier with the accommodations. Everything was included (except our personal belongings and food): towels, dishware, etc. The Cottage was very comfortable. Beds were great, everything was great. The host was very communicative via email before our stay. Getting into the cottage was easy access. I would certainly recommend the 'cabin' (as my grand kids called it) to anyone! We are extremely happy we chose Camp Hudson Pines!

Hudson Pines offers a picturesque, cozy, and easy lower Adirondack stay for families! We stayed 5 nights at the Willow cabin, which was plenty of room for us, grandparents, and our two kids. The children loved the hammock chairs on the porch, and the fire pit. We appreciated the beautiful setting on the Hudson River, comfy beds, and amenities like a washer & dryer and updated bathroom with toiletries. On site we walked the trails and visited the swimming area / beach though the pool would have been easier with two young children. The owners and staff are very helpful and accommodating. We will be back next summer!

We had the most relaxing and adventurous few days at Camp Hudson Pines. As we pulled into the camp, we were welcomed by the friendly staff at the general store and given all the information we needed for our stay. As we drove to our home for the next few days, Tamarack Cabin, we were excited to see a hammock, picnic table, and Adirondack chairs in our side yard -- perfect for enjoying the view of the Hudson River. Tamarack was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. The cabin included many seating areas, as well as an outfitted kitchen, and outdoor grill. One night we ordered Rocco's pizza, which I highly recommend! The beds were comfy and the blackout shades helped us sleep in every day. The campground had a lovely atmosphere and we felt comfortable letting our kids (11 & 13) roam around on their own. They enjoyed the pool, the river, and the ping pong table. After a couple of days of relaxing in nature, we decided to try a white water rafting trip with Wild Waters Outdoor Center in nearby Warrensburg. It was an amazing full day of rapids on the Hudson. There's so much to do in the area. We would return in a heartbeat!
