About Campground

This is a single-site property with a canvas bell tent on a platform overlooking the Adirondack Mountains. Our property is a working farm that raises grass-fed and finished beef, eggs, and a small vegetable garden. We're a stone's throw from Lake Champlain and a two-minute drive into the town of Westport. There are multiple trailheads on our road for short, easy hikes along the CATS trail system. We are a 30 minute drive from Keene Valley, where more vigorous Adirondack Mountain hiking trailheads are accessible.

For larger groups, there is an option to pitch additional tents in and around our orchard.

Directions

Our address is 295 Sherman Road, Westport, NY. You will see a large black mailbox opposite our drive way. Once you turn onto our driveway, bear right at the fork and head down toward a big barn with a burgundy roof. Park in the gravel parking lot and walk to the tent site. Signs will guide your way.

Very cool Winter Lantern Festival! Tickets are cheaper in person than online. Get the $3 hot chocolate! It's vegan 😁 We really enjoyed ourselves and became like little kids with all the fun sculptures

It was a fabulous holiday experience especially on Christmas Eve. The weather was perfect wasn't crowded and we spent about 45 minutes to an hour. So much to see. A little disappointed that the hot chocolate truck and the hot beverages truck was closed. Other than that it was fabulous. They also needed to clean the bathrooms.

Visited for the Winter Lantern Festival.

I was surprised at the amount of effort put into the decorations and displays.

Kids will get a kick out of this and definitely a ton of spots for photo shoots.

You can pace yourself and be done in 30-40 minutes but bundle up since it is cold and has to be done at night to appreciate all the lights!

I added the wish jar option as a keepsake and well worth it.

I went for the Chinese lantern light show in December. I thought it was just ok. It is pretty. A lot of the lanterns are showing their age, though. Quick walk through, and I was done. I did get pictures for you! I was happy that parking was free and the ticket to get in was pretty cheap too. All of the people working were super nice!

DEFINITELY for families with small kids
