Came for a sales presentation...the associate tried way too hard and wasted a lot of time. The golf cart ride was too slow and chatty and redundant.
Was a beautiful campground with beautiful old trees. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The camp was super clean.
No hot water in the showers and the water pressure was awful. I called the office and told them but never heard back from them I talked to another guest who said it has been an ongoing problem for months. Everyone has said something to the office to no avail. ON THE PLUS side it has a very large dog park. 😊 lots of mature trees and large sites. Employees are very nice
Three hour sales pitch and 16k for a membership that I would have absolutely regretted. We didn't even get a tour of the park and after leaving I know why, there isn't much to see or do. State parks with their natural springs and lazy rivers and miles of hiking trails are so much better for our active family. By the way if you did want the travel resorts of America membership there are tons for sale on the Facebook camping groups where they just want you to pay the transfer fee.
If you’re looking for true camping, this is a nice campground. It’s in the middle of nowhere with not any real street traffic. This is a membership campground, and the biggest thing I don’t like about it, is the fact that not all the sites have sewer hookups. They don’t tell you this when booking your reservation. Basically, you’re going to spend a ton of money on a membership, to have these amenities, and they don’t provide them. They promised this huge expansion when I signed up, but no construction or improvements have started at this time. We will see if they do upgrade anything. It could just be a sales pitch to get people in here. Aside from that, I do like the campground. It’s very peaceful and quiet. They do have full time residents here. They are all so nice and polite. Some of the spots are very tricky to get into, and will require a spotter. I absolutely love the woodsy feel of these sites and am happy I came back.
