We just went there today to look at a travel trailer/ RV for sale. The park is really clean, looks very welcoming, people are super friendly & nice! The lady that showed us her RV said she has lived there over a year with her family & said that it’s really safe & that management is really great there. We are hoping to buy the RV & stay at this park! It definitely looks like a place we like to live & the community looks like a place we would fit in well with our family!
This is not a campground this is a trailer park. Yes, the park consist mostly of campers but the fact they stay there permanently makes it a trailer park. The very large majority of the RVs/campers here are permanent or long term. So much so they have sheds and wooden steps on their lots. Additionally, the roads are very narrow with no designated traffic flow and cars were sometimes parked very close to the road. There were cats roaming everywhere, we even had a cat fight outside our window at 10pm. The hook ups were weird in the fact the power hook up was at the front of the lot. The park is an older park, however, it was clean for the most part (a few lots were cluttered and dirty... like the one next to us). The bath house was surprisingly clean but they don't open them until 7am. I didn't use the pool but it looked clean when I walked by. They do allow big dogs which took us here because other parks did not. People were friendly and it was quiet for the most part. They should make a separate section for short term.
Location easy access from hwy, not your typical rv park. Has clean pool, several restrooms buildings thru out location, laundry, & houses residents and seasonal visitors also. Local restaurants, fuel and fast food all within 5 minute drive. Also within 30 minutes from beach or Orlando. Good choice.
This place is our new home for the next year, and our hope is that it’s home for many more to come. Melissa was a doll at going through the move-in process and we couldn’t feel more welcomed.
Our two cats are absolutely in love-and the bonus? Blue Springs state park is right down the way. A perfect place to visit…and an even better place to call home.
We stayed there for a few months sadly we had to leave and be back in New York on short notice. Our site was located in a quiet area, surprisingly, as we were on a corner. The showers were always amazing and never ran outta hot water. Loved the fact that there were washers and dryers available 24 hours in one area as well.
Was sad when we 1st got there that they had removed the dog park area as others weren't cleaning up after their pets. However, that took us to finding the Keysville dog park not far away, huge fenced in areas. We loved that the park allowed our senior dogs to stay, as that was a huge need for us.
The staff were amazingly super nice I loved feeling comfortable to ask questions ( I had a bunch).
We are gonna miss the neighbors we had lots as they made us feel extra welcome. The 1st morning 1 had gotten a gator and invited us to see it. Sooo cool for us. Others were just extra nice and friendly. I miss the little lizards, the flowers and other plants already. We hope to visit again in the future and maybe I will be able to enjoy the heated pool, or other amenities. I recommend this park for short or long term. Thank you Melissa, Sharon, and especially Danielle and Stephanie as I enjoyed our random chats. But the rest of the staff as well for making our stay pleasant.
