I stayed at this park for a month. Probably one of their best features here is clean facilities. The laundry mat is extremely clean. Their bathrooms are extremely clean. As soon as you pull in you know you’re stay isn’t going to be dirty. That is one thing that makes Ocala Sun stand out from the rest. It’s also family friendly, the roads are paved and wide, great for a night time bike ride. The landscape of this place is something you know they take pride in and value. The people are friendly. The staff is friendly. The lots are for the most part very level. It can be a challenge to leave in the mornings since they are on a main artery when it comes to the road outside of the park. It’s an easy ride to Walmart from the location and there are food stops very nearby as well as grocery stores and gas stations which I found convenient. The atmosphere feels safe. And for anyone who struggles with dealing with bugs, it’s hard to find a location in fl that doesn’t have roaches, this place is so clean and well maintained. I would have stayed longer than a month. And I would definately return to this park. I’ve stayed at many parks in the year I’ve been down in this area in florida and Ocala Sun was one of the best. I completely recommend this park. Well worth the money.

In December, we stopped here for the night when traveling South. It was a short drive to the park from I-75. The staff were very nice and welcoming. However, they put us in a very tight space, between two other campers, when there were plenty of spaces wide open. The fee of $70+ for a tight spot on grass with no table or concrete pad was high.(we used Good Sam discount and our total was a little over $62). There are a lot of seasonal and permanent residences there. We noticed they had a very nice pickleball court. Our motorhome is 45 feet long and it was very tight to navigate through the park. For that reason, we will not return.

We stayed there from October 2023 - January 2024. The entrance gate never worked and we were told it hadn't for over a year. The pool heater went out in November and nobody ever fixed it. The water at the dog park never worked. WiFi was only good for email. Finally our dog was playing in the dog park and another dog ran into a branch on a dead bush and was injured. We were asked to leave because someone said our 11.5 year old dog was aggressive. We were never contacted to present our side of the incident. He had been with multiple dogs during our stay with no incidents. We've been full timing for 2 years and we've never had a problem anywhere. The park is getting run down. The workers were great, the management is questionable.

Staff not friendly. No refund even with two weeks notice. Took my money. Mostly long term residents. Long grassing pull through, but very narrow. Rain water created a swamp. Sewer drain is above the level of the site. WiFi pretty good. Electric and water good. Cable TV weak.
