We have been coming to this campground since 2011 (7 times since 2011). Our experience this week was awful. We arrived and asked for a pull thru site because we were leaving early and didnt want to disrupt anyone. There was an extra fee which we understand. Our son was in lobby with us, they asked how old he was and because he's 17 they charged us extra. I already divulged he was with us when I booked in June and nights were paid in full at that time. So, payed twice for him.
The pool used to be nice with tables and umbrellas. Tables are gone, chairs are old and no shade at all at pool area.
Our pull thru site had "patio stone" with weeds growing in between patio stones. The site was decrepit. The owner says "wifi works best at office". To be clear, wifi ONLY WORKS AT OFFICE. The website says :
"Each site comes with cable TV hookups as well as wireless internet."
FALSE ADVERTISING.
We stayed at multiple campgrounds during this trip and this was by far the worse one ever. The customer service is awful. This place is only in business because of location. Will never be back again.
Short drive to events at Daytona International Speedway. Friendly, kind, and helpful staff. Clean bath house and Campground! Even during an event weekend, everything was quiet at night.
This was better than expected as far as a cabin goes it smelled like Cedar which was so refreshing and it was stocked with everything from dish soap to bedding to towels and keurig coffee in the morning with a full bathroom it was clean comfortable amazing and easy to go into and leave such a great experience it was beautiful
