I really loved my stay here. The 1955 Airstream was such a delight and comfortable for my single night stay. I came on a weekday and it really wasn't busy at all, which made it even more enjoyable with it being very quiet and low-key. Unfortunately, the diner and bar weren't open, but I loved the vibes nonetheless.
My only complaint is the lack of office staff. Somebody was there as I checked in at about 2 (they were super nice), but after that, everyone seemed to have vanished. To check in, it seems like the guests arriving later in the day just have to find their camper and check in themselves based off the notes they leave on the office door. No office staff was there the following morning for me to check out, which was unfortunate cause I wanted to stay another day with them and purchase some merchandise.
All in all, well worth a stay and if closer, I would happily stay more often.
Sadly we were in Bisbee for a very short time but I had read an article about the shady dell in a magazine many years ago and knew I had to visit while I was in town. What a jewel! I'll go back to bisbee and stay here. The site is a lovely step back in time, each trailer is fabulously styled and i felt happy just being there. I am looking forward to a future stay!
Great and unique place to stay. The shower room was clean and well kept. We enjoyed a campfire one night and grilled bratwurst another. Many different trailers to sleep in. I highly recommend a stay here.
First of all if it wasn’t for Justin not returning my call, or refunding me for one night I would not be leaving this review, as I don’t like to bash businesses! I wanted to love this place! Since seeing this spot in Arizona highway magazine I’ve wanted to visit. Just a short drive from my home in Phoenix. I was telling everyone I was coming here. First night get there December 1st my friend arrived the night before from Spain. We get in trailer super cute, but doors wouldn’t latch properly called no reply. Beds were comfortable the night we stayed. Next, morning wake up try to turn on hot water. No hot water looked all around on how to heat it, but no luck. After several attempts to contact Justin with NO reply we decided we needed to seek lodging somewhere else. It took Justin 14 hours to call me back by this time we’d left. I’ve contacted multiple times via phone and e mail have not received a call back nor seen a refund on my bank. Justin, you could have a great business if you’d be more responsive! I unfortunately will not return if I do not receive the refund you told my friend eleven days ago you’d send and I’ll be contacting BBB and filing a complaint!
After attempting to contact the property manager and getting no response I figured I’d leave the review so others can be saved the trouble. First I found a pair of dirty panties on the couch. It was also freezing inside the trailer, the tiny space heater could not keep up at all. The blankets did little to nothing since they were so light and small, basically a beach towel. There was no substantial bedding on the bed, just sheets and a duvet cover. We woke up in the middle of the night to it being 50° inside and after trying to tough it out we finally decided to just pack up and head home instead of actually staying through the night. Outlets did not support modern day chargers either. They also failed to mention that there are no showers or hot water in these rooms. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone because there is no one working on the property and no one to answer calls or emails either apparently.
100% a scam. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.
