The location of the cabin was amazing, rithht on the creek and 10 minutes from Mt. Rainier. Our only issue was we didn't have any hot water and the sound on the TV was really low to hear.
Didn't stay here but did some work on an appliance. Google keeps asking for a review. So for what it's worth... The place appears to be a home and not just a cabin. Appearance wise the interior looked immaculate and outside was quiet but for birds and a flowing creek. I would spend a vacation here.
We've visited Cedar Cabin a few times, with friends, family, and on our own. The snowy pic from seven years ago was our first visit, and it was the same charming cabin you can see in the next pic, although the owner across the street has definitely done some logging. Love the toy closet in the kids room- it was fun when our girls were toddlers and it's still fun for them now, but not as fun as the awesome entertainment system they're watching in the last picture with just about anything you could want on it. Not to mention the free entrainment right outside at the creek, in the hot tub, and just down the road from Paradise. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!
I want to live here. This place is amazing. Gorgeous setting on the creek with a fire pit and covered outdoor hot tub. The cabin is really a full-on house with everything provided. Just bring your own food and drinks. Can’t wait for a return trip!
As much as I loved this cabin, I will NEVER stay here again. We reserved through AirBNB. The area is gorgeous and close to Rainer, but you are very close with other cabins.
There is a reasonable quiet time after 10PM, which is absolutely understandable! We received a noise complaint BEFORE 10PM one night. I was the last one inside at 9PM and everyone was in bed before 10PM.
On top of that, we received a review from the owner that we were dirty and had pets. I wish I had taken photos of what we left behind so we could disapprove everything. We cleaned as best as we could despite there being no real access to any cleaning materials other than a broom, laundry detergent, dish soap, and dishwasher liquid. We started the towels, cleaned the dishes, took out our trash. We didn't make beds as we assumed they would be stripped and cleaned.
There is a dog that is wandering between cabins that we spotted twice and shooed off.
There is plenty of deer that wander through and a racoon that lives under the porch.
