Love love love the location. The drive is a bit up the mountain and ya dont want to be the second car in the convoy when it hits dirt roads, but i just visited for the second time and will definitely do it again. Wish i had my chain saw to helpe remove a downed tree in path. Also wish i knew if it were a safe jump. 250llbs 2 left feet, all thumbs, water was balls cold, decided against jump.
This is a nice quiet spot. Remote place with no digital distractions. It's about 10 minutes from where the paved road ends. The base sign is still there and the path to the falls is about 5 hike down a really easy trail.
Beautiful falls and shallow pond area not to far from the parking area with a nice trail, but definitely on the road less traveled. There was a tree fallen that blocked the path but it's not too hard to get over. The rocky sign base is still there but the sign itself is long gone but yeah that's it!
The falls and water were absolutely beautiful. Long mountain road drive in. Short hike from the small parking area to to the falls.
We wanted to go from Wynoochee Falls to Maidenhair Falls going upstream in the river. We couldn't do that so we ended up hiking .71 miles with an elevation gain of 107 ft. But the falls are only .2 miles from the parking area. The Falls are amazing.
