All around, a pretty good campground. Clean sites and friendly staff.
My only complaint is that the showers are not open at all times. This is actually the first campground I’ve ever stayed at where this is a policy. Some people plan to leave at 6:00 or 7:00am and need to shower before driving for hours to the next campground.
Please take changing this policy into consideration as it is very frustrating for some campers.
Thousand Trails campgrounds are nice but tall Chief is even nicer stayed there for 2 days going in and out of Seattle great place Snoqualmie Falls is about 10 minutes up the road which is the biggest Falls in Washington absolutely stunning go upstairs and eat at the restaurant we really loved our stay James was quite a nice and helpful employee really really took care of us thank you again James as you are a great human we really do love the campground but I want to say the men's bathroom needs a water heater installed ASAP lots of upgrades to the floors roofs countertops mirrors but without a hot shower it makes me lose a star don't tell anyone but I went into the woman's shower with my wife and got a hot shower the last night Ssshh don't tell anyone
Beautiful campground, big wooded sites, convenient location to sight-seeing. The electric on our site was low voltage most of the time we were there. The hot tub is closed in the winter; isn't that hot tub season? The rates are high for no sewer hook-ups. However, we would stay there again.
My children were staying with their mother here when the staff decided that she was a good target for harassment. She had mentioned to a truck that it should slow down when it sped past the area they were and the truck of hired workers complained to the staff. The staff then decided to spend the next two weeks randomly cutting their power, fighting with my ex and even literally pushing them around, including one altercation that should have had police called if they hadn't threatened her with instantaneous eviction. The owner reviewed security video and tried apologizing to them, having seen the staff's harassment, but the staff continued their little acts of revenge. Every morning they woke up to their master power switch being turned off, every time a staff member saw them they would give them a middle finger, assurances that they would never be allowed to return.
If you are part of their 'in crowd' you could stay here, which is a lovely location, and you might not run into the horrible people who work here, but I will never trust this place with my children again.
Only stayed here one night but it was great! We came in a little late on a Friday. The man at the check in desk, Aaron, was very helpful and friendly. Definitely the type of person you'd want in a position like that. The sites themselves were very nice! Wooded to give a bit of privacy and provide some sound insulation. The only noise we heard at night was owls hooting. We used the dump station on the way out and they even had a little trash can for gloves which is such a thoughtful touch.
