There are many undeveloped camping locations on the forest. Generally there are no amenities available, such as restrooms, water or garbage dumpsters. All trash and waste must be packed out.

The countryside is incredibly beautiful and Iron Creek is a real treasure to behold, but the road is narrow, windy, bumpy and then there are the woods on one side and a drop to the creek on the other side. Even so, I have made this drive several times recently.
